Cheerleading Essentials - Don't Leave Home Without Them
Between cheerleading and school you’ll barely have time to sit back and relax. This busy schedule means you need to be prepared to go at all times. Making sure your cheerleading bag is filled with all the essentials can help you make it through these hectic times. Here are a few items no cheerleader should leave home without.
* Body Glitter/Face Paint: If you want to make sure you’re always ready to show your school spirit, keep some body glitter and face paint in a plastic bag or container. Face paint and glitter can be used during football games, pep rallies, or parades to show support for the football team or your school.
* Lip Gloss: Keep your lips moisturized and looking great by keeping a tube of your favorite lip gloss in your cheer bag. Not only can lip gloss add extra shine to your smile, it’s also important to keep on hand when you’re out in the elements. Wind, cold weather, and extended exposure to the sun can wreak havoc on your lips. Make sure you carry a gloss that has moisturizing agents to help prevent cracked and sore lips.
* Hair Ties and Ribbons: Make sure you have plenty of ribbons and hair ties in your cheerleading bag. While you may have your hair perfectly straightened or in adorable curls at the beginning of a football game; strenuous movement, sweat, humidity, or rain can ruin even the most well prepared hair. Having a hair tie and a ribbon or two in your bag will help you ward off bad hair embarrassment while showing your cheer spirit.
* Brush: This one is pretty self explanatory. A brush will come handy when you need to pull your hair back or tame some unruly locks.
* Hair Spray: Keeping your tresses in place during your stunts is often a near impossible task. To make sure your hair stays as secure as possible make sure you bring a bottle of extra hold hairspray to keep everything in place.
* Water Proof Mascara: I would go so far as to advise cheerleaders to stay away from any mascara that isn’t water proof. Waterproof mascara will prevent smudges caused by rain, sweat, or even tears. Make sure you never look like a raccoon in your uniform by always keep water proof mascara on hand.
* Deodorant: While you may not like to admit it, everyone is capable of sweating and therefore smelling less than terrific. Make sure you always carry a stick of your favorite deodorant in your bag for occasions when you’re working extra hard and may break a sweat.
* Makeup Remover: A variety of things can cause your make up to run, smudge, or just look subpar. Always carry makeup remover and cotton balls in your bag so you can remove and reapply make up in seconds.

Sexy Halloween Makeup - Let Us Show How and Why
Its time to step out your shell and be someone else, and truly play the part! Why not half the world is going to be out there with you right? The style of makeup you will need to do is going to be a bit harder to do.Halloween makeup used to be tons of it and the brighter & wilder the better! It was like you wanted to be able to be seen from across the room and give a great first impression. You never know who you might be meeting at all those Costume parties, Costume Contests, Masquerade balls, Themed Night Clubs that we as grownups love to be at on Halloween right?
Who doesn't want to be met at the door of some haunted house this year with a sexy witch or bar maid? Think of the business that would give you oh and that could be you too! You know haunted houses are big business for church's in need of a little extra money right? Put it on for the kids and make the grownup's a bit happy with the eye candy that could be you.
Some Halloween makeup ideas are going to take a lot of different colors to make the whole look come together. What's different about going glam instead of ghoul is the style of course of the makeup and what you do to create it. After you have pick out the costume you want to wear this year its time to decide how to do your makeup. Take a good look at your face and decide what is your best feature and work with it. For our example, we are going to use farm maid. Any of these ideas and tips can be found on a DVD called Halloween Makeup Collection One with more information on the how's to step by step.
For a sexy witch, or cowgirl, or even sexy cop you are going to want simple, but still be seen. So more makeup than usual will be needed but tasteful done. Start off with your best feature you are going to want to play up, and we are going to use eyes as our example. A farm maid is going to have a simple innocent look such as doe eyes. That look is still something you will need to plan out because you want it to last you all night under all types of lighting.
Start off with your makeup primer, or foundation all over your eyelid. This is to keep your makeup in place. Next you will need a all over color and for this look pick something really light.
Smudge your base color on the lid, blending up and out towards the brow till it pretty much just fades away. A nice grey would work well for this. Next you need to intensify that color with a darker color by adding it to the crease of the following the natural curve of the socket. Lighten under the brow line and use a round makeup brush to smudge it the two colors together starting from the outside in. Go easy on your eyeliner and do wear mascara. If you look younger than you are, your eyes will be just right for this look. Don't forget your blush and wear a pretty pink if you're a farm maid or cowboy, if you are using this look for a sexy cop then go red with your lipstick.
This is the Halloween you need to set away from looking like you are going to be playing with dead people all night and walk out into the spotlight looking totally hot! Anyone can be a ghoul but only those with the true know-how of how glamorous makeup is done can pull off the more beautiful looks. This year let it be you! Have fun this Halloween, and watch out for all those ghouls!

Guidelines and Tips for shopping makeup products
Before getting started, it's essential that you have the right products in the correct shade. Though this make-up type goes very well with an even-toned, smooth skin , other skin types can also go for the invisible look by using the right shades of foundation, concealer and powder. Shopping guidelines
Always buy your make-up products in natural daylight. Since it contains both ultra violet and infra red light, the shade can be matched to perfec tion. Store lights, which are generally yellow, can affect the shade or colour.
To achieve this effect, buy a shade of concealer, foun dation and compact that's closest or of your skin colour. The foundation and concealer can either be in cream or liquid form. They should match the skin tone. Sometimes you may need to mix more than one shade to get the right shade. Dab a dot in the middle of your forehead and blend it in.
The compact powder or translucent powder should be very fine, with a touch of shimmer, so that it reflects light and gives a polished skin effect.
Foundation Base
Use very little foundation. You can even mist your face after applying it and then dab it with some tissue. This will remove the excess foundation. Cover blotches with a concealer. Set with just a light pat of translucent powder or compact.
Eyes
The idea is to give life to your eyes. The most important thing that highlights beautiful eyes is well-groomed and well-shaped eyebrows.
If you have spaces in between your eyebrows, cover them with a dark brown pow der eye shadow. Apply skin coloured concealer on the eye lids and set with translucent powder. Now use skin coloured shimmer eye shadow . You can also go for light peach or light brown. Use an eyelash curler to curl the lashes and apply transparent or nonclumping mascara.
A brown pencil in a shade darker than your skin can be used to outline the under eye and smudge it at the outer crease. Do up the lower lashes with transparent or nonclumping mascara.
Now use a zero number natural hair paint brush to draw a fine line on your upper lid, close to the hair roots. The line should be as good as invisible.
Lips
Cover them with a slight touch of foundation. Use a lip pencil in nude or skin colours to draw the outline and use the same pencil to fill in colour. Apply transparent lip gloss .
A good way to give your lips a natural non made-up look is to fill in colour with a light lip pencil and then top it with lip balm. This works very well.
Cheeks
Just a small dot of nude lipstick or peach cream blush would do. Blend it well into the skin, going upwards from the middle of the cheek towards the temple and sides of the cheek bone.
